Sungai Selangor Selangor, Malaysia

Sungai Selangor is located near Kuala Kubu Baru, you can find it along the road to Fraser's hill.
This river has many strong rapids, and the view along the river is very nice.
This is a 5km run, and takes around 2-3 hours, more than 10 rapids challenges.
You can also try tubing and kayaking here.

Whitewater action at Selangor river has 2 sections
Upper river (grade II-III)
- When the water levels are low, this section provides the run. Tubing and fun inflatable kayak activities are occassionally carried out here.
Lower river (grade II-IV)
- This is the ideal section to run as the thrills and spills here is what KKB Whitewater rafting/kayaking is famous for. All 7 kilometers of it!
Itinerary
- 0930 Meet at Kuala Kubu Baru Post Office. From there the guide will lead you and car to starting point where your passengers get off except the driver who will be led to park car at the end point. The driver will then be driven back to start point (20mins) to commence a comprehensive and fun training session on rafting technique and safety.
- 1020 - Rafting begins! Due to the large drops here, rafts will stop before each rapid in order for guides to survey the run and to serve as rescue for each raft. There will be a short snack break along the way and you will finish about 1 or 2pm . Lunch time inclusive.
