Local fruits
Malaysia is a tropica country. Sunny days and rainy days. You can’t easily predict the rain here. At one time you go out from the house the sun shine brightly and a minute later rain comes in.
But Malaysia have another season here, the all new fruit season .Tropical local fruits like Durians, mangosteen and rambutan are seasonal fruits that you can get only once a year. The local fruits season range from June to August.
Durian Fruit is the King of Fruit with delicious smell and tasty. It can best be described as having a succulent, creamy filling but smelling like stinky socks - don't let that dissuade you from trying it.
In Malaysia, durian fruit is used to flavour candy, cakes, mousse, chips, ice cream and milkshakes. There's a dish, pulut durian, of glutinous rice steamed with coconut milk and served with ripe durian (I think this is also available in Thailand). Sugared and salted preserves are also created from durian.
