Singor river is located in the area of Tasik Temenggor - one of Malaysia largest man-made lakes.
This river offers Grade 5 rapids and is around 13km long. Singor river on the Perak-Kelantan border is a whitewater river that flow thorugh the virgin rainforest of the Belum rainforest exosystem.
introduction to Singor river
For the ultimate whitewater rafting experience, there is a 3D2N Singor river whitewater expidition. The trip begins in Grik town, where rafters will have to hike for 3-4 hours thtough secondary forest to Chewis river, a tributary of Singor river.
Then a 2 hours raft begins, the first day there will only be Grade I to Grade III rapids, the campsite is just at the end of 1st raft. Everyone will be provided with basic camping equipment, bathing will have to be done in the river water.
The next day the tour continues with whitewater rafting down Singor river, on this day you will experience Grade I to Grade V rapids. This raft will take whole day, there will be refreshments provided at each resting point along the way. The campsite will be by the river also.
The last day, there will be a 8km raft, you will encounter Grade I to Grade IV rapids, upon arriving at Pulau Bandingm the trip ends.
