Whitewater action at Selangor river has 2 sections
Upper river (grade II-III)
When the water levels are low, this section provides the run. Tubing and fun inflatable kayak activities are occassionally carried out here.
Lower river (grade II-IV)
This is the ideal section to run as the thrills and spills here is what KKB Whitewater rafting/kayaking is famous for. All 7 kilometers of it!
Itinerary
0930 Meet at Kuala Kubu Baru Post Office. From there the guide will lead you and car to starting point where your passengers get off except the driver who will be led to park car at the end point. The driver will then be driven back to start point (20mins) to commence a comprehensive and fun training session on rafting technique and safety.
1020 - Rafting begins! Due to the large drops here, rafts will stop before each rapid in order for guides to survey the run and to serve as rescue for each raft. There will be a short snack break along the way and you will finish about 1 or 2pm . Lunch time inclusive.

Meet in Kuala Kubu Bahru at 0830 hours. Breakfast at own expense.
After breakfast, proceed to starting point. Commence activity at 1000 hours inclusive of briefings. Participants will be briefed on safety, paddling and rafting techniques. You will be equipped with safety helmets and life vests for the adrenaline pumping ride through the nine rapids. The adventure takes one to 3 hours of leisure paddling. Lunch and refreshments provided.

Itinerary
0830hrs White Water Rafting activities on Sungai Selangor in the Region of Kuala Kubu Bharu with the traveling time by road only about 1 1/2 hour drives Kuala Lumpur.
Meet representative at Kuala Kubu Bahru Post Office for an Indian Muslim breakfast, after which depart to the "put in" point about 5km along the Kuala Kubu Bharu / Fraser Hill Road. Upon arrival, DRIVERS only, will drive their car to the "TAKE OUT" point at KEM BINA SEMANGAT and then they will be transferred back to the "PUT" IN" point by representative.
Allocations of all rafting equipments (Helmet / PFD / Paddles), followed by detail briefing about 15-20 minutes. Participants will be divided into grouping of maximum 6 persons/rafts.
1030hrs Starts rafting and 5 minutes later, a practical exercise at the "FLIP CORNER" about 10 minutes. The rafting will be about 3 to 3.5 hours depending on the water level and the group size
1400hrs Arrival at the "TAKE OUT" point where participants will have shower and lunch before departing back to destination of origin.
Drive towards Ipoh from Kuala Lumpur using Plus highway, exit at Rawang, then pass through Rawang town and use the old road leading to Ipoh. There will be directions leading to Kuala Kubu Baru. Once you reach the Chinese cemetery you will come to a Shell petrol station at your right, turn right after the petrol station. Turn left when you reach a traffic light. Head towards Kuala Kubu Baru town. The guide will meet you at Kuala Kubu Baru post office.
